In Feb this year I wrote this article about the inevitabilty of this
kind of an event happening again in India , given the Yahoo ban of Sep 2003. I outlined what I could piece together from that event.

I am no lawyer but I wrote questioning the provisions of the IT act of 2000 to enforce internet censorship as well as the legality of a body like CERT-IN itself.
I am sure the current events will play out like the previous events
which they are already mirroring closely -- No one in the halls of
these agencies and minisry will know exactly what is happening and the blame game will be played out and finally after a few weeks/months the whole thing will be withdrawn.
